About the Position
We are looking to appoint three Permanent Full-Time Irrigation Maintenance Operators to join our Parks team. This is an opportunity to work in a position where you will make a positive impact on the community and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Irrigation Maintenance Operator will include but are not limited to:
1. Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
2. Diagnose and repair irrigation systems to maximise water usage.
3. Monitor effectiveness of irrigation systems (i.e. turf is uniformly irrigated) and report on faults and irrigation infrastructure issues.
4. Ensure that irrigation system repairs are carried out in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and current best practice.
5. Other Irrigation tasks as directed.
About You
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
1. Safety Awareness Training Certificate.
2. Certificate in Irrigation / Turf / Horticulture or Demonstrated Experience in commercial maintenance of Irrigation.
3. Understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices and an ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment.
4. MRWA Competency in basic Worksite Traffic Management.
5. First Aid Certificate.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 5 (Under Review) Outside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary up to $74,200.52 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have the ability to obtain:
1. A copy of Australian Driver’s Licence.
2. National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
3. Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
4. The right to work in Australia.
