From 4 April 2024, overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc.) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary list, which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). We advise that you check that the role you wish to apply for meets the requirement for sponsorship before applying.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistants to support Ward 36 - Recovery and Rehabilitation Unit. The ward is busy, and you will need to be able to work under pressure at times. You will work within the established nursing team on Ward 36 alongside registered nurses, healthcare assistants, and therapy staff providing care to patients on the ward.

Responsibilities include:
1. Promoting a 'can do' attitude and determination to develop and sustain a dynamic and responsive clinical and administrative support service within a Community Hospital / Community Team setting which delivers best practice.
2. Promoting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of patients.
3. Promoting and improving the patient experience/journey.
4. Empowering patients and promoting patient shared/self-care where appropriate.
5. Observing the general behaviour, ability, and response of patients/clients and recording the information to report to qualified staff as and when required.
6. Dealing appropriately with interruptions, unpredictable events, and behaviours.
