The position is fully remote with extensive travel required in the Southeast of the UK.
About the Team
The ZF Passenger Car sales team currently have a Country Manager, A Regional Sales Manager, 3 Key Account Managers and 3 Business development managers, we work well as a team and use each others experence to develop business. We work closely with the customer services team, technicial team and marketing teams.

1. Engaging with key customers and buying groups
2. Company & Product training with key customers
3. Identifying and developing new business channels
4. Negotiating commercial agreements to grow business
5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, current market activities, and competitors
6. Using a CRM (Salesforce)
7. Collaborating with other territory managers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
8. Customer trade events
Your Profile as Business Development Manager
9. Proven field sales development or business development experience, preferably within the passenger car aftermarket
10. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
11. Good understanding of the UK/IRL aftermarket
12. Mechanical knowledge
13. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships as well as good presentation skills
14. Very good and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, marketing, customer services and pricing teams.
15. Fluent in English and additional languages are a strong plus
