Experience Required Experience of reactive (£1k-£100k+) Works Delivery Frameworks/fast paced environment (at least 5 years)Civil Engineering Construction work, ideally in a railway environment (at least 5 years)Appreciation of Network Rail design processDemonstratable Line management experienceDemonstratable commercial experience - NEC 4 contract experience desirableDemonstratable Programme Management experienceRailway Safety Training - PTS essential, COSS/IWA desirableContinued professional development courses as appropriate - SMSTS - MAPM - NVQ 6/7 - NEBOSH - Temporary Works Co-Ordinator etc Work Stream:You will join a team dedicated to rail buildings maintenance and asset management that handles maintenance projects, both reactive and planned. The business unit's primary focus is on maintaining and repairing rail assets under a long-term framework agreement, which includes: - Stations - Buildings, Platforms, Car Parks - Line side buildings - Maintenance Delivery Units - Signal Box's Responsibilities Management of Network Rail (client) and rail related infrastructure to requisite performance criteria, ensuring stringent KPIs are met in line with client expectations (estimate submissions, delivery timescales, risk scores, completion packs etc)Liaise with Client personnel and represent CML at Client deliverability meetings as appropriate. Maintain and develop client relationships on the basis of mutual trust and high standards of contract performance in line with CML CORE ValuesUndertake pre-site scoping visits to capture works requirements and enable robust planning and execution of worksLiaise with commercial team to review estimate submissions and final account details - analysing trends and reporting on day-to-day civils performance to the Project Manager to identify contractual progress of works against programmeManage allocated site teams to ensure compliance with site returns, commercial reporting, quality and safety etc to drive efficiencies across the Framework and assist with timely submissions of EWNs/compensation eventsPrepare and implement Site specific management plans to ensure Site activities comply with CML Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental PoliciesPrepare and implement site documentation and contract plans to conform, as a minimum, to the Client's requirement and specificationEnsure robust programme management in the planning of works, capturing all required 3rd party access consents, possession/isolation submissions, traffic management requests etc where required to co-ordinate and facilitate the successful execution of worksIdentify training needs and development potential of allocated CML personnelUndertake site audits and engage with allocated site teamsLead and implement professional safety behaviour and culture throughout the business, promoting positive change in everyday activitiesAny other duties as may reasonably be required For further information and to apply get in touch.
