Description Overview An opportunity has arisen for 2 Warehouse Administrators to join our Howden Joinery contract. Shift patterns are fixed Monday to Friday 22.00 to 06.00. How will you contribute? • Provide general administration support as required to aid the efficient running of operations. • T o keep accurate records to avoid financial exposure and inability. • Proactively manage all stock documentation, in line with agreed process and procedures. • To update the systems with relevant data on operational /pallet transactions. • To liaise with customers, haulier’s and internal customers on all issues relating to the operation. • Maintain WMS database and schedules with no effect to the service levels and stock integrity. • To ensure all handling of finished products comply with Legislative, Company & Customer requirements with respect to Safety, thus ensuring that all products, packaging and processes meet these requirements. • Escalate to the Warehouse Management Team any issues that are likely to affect the performance of the department, site, or relationship with the customer. • To attend training courses when required. • To comply with Quality, Health, and Safety procedures and to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. • To provide other support to the operation as needed • Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role. To be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices. What will you bring? • Relevant experience in warehouse environment is desirable • Strong organisational skills • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) at all levels • Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office package) • Ability to work on own initiative What do we offer?
