Your new company Hays Finance are working with a local manufacturing client that focusses highly on quality products and continuous improvement. The role of Accounts Assistant is key to the smooth operation of the finance function. Our client has been in operation for over 20 years and has experienced rapid growth and expansion in this time due to cost efficiencies and fast turnover of products. Your new role The purpose of this role is to manage the smooth and efficient running of the Administration office and reception area. The role holder will be responsible for a broad range of accounts administrative tasks such as invoicing both received and payable with all associated query resolution and supplier statement reconciliation. Other duties include an element of credit control when required to support the Accountant and Payroll along with other general admin tasks or duties required to support a small but busy manufacturing facility. What you'll need to succeed At least 2 years previous experience in a busy office environment is essential with demonstrable experience of invoicing and SAGE accounts. Ideally you will have previous experience of managing payroll and previous, demonstrable experience of computerised systems is essential specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience of a customer facing role is desirable as the role require your to be located in the reception area.
