Flexibility You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. Hybrid Working Do you like to work from home? With this role you have the option of working from home or from our head office in Widnes - or a blend between the two Salary £30,000 - £35,000 £3,000 car allowance Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: As the L&D Specialist within Complex Care, you will play a crucial role in Identifying the training need and planning a programme of blending learning interventions Your key responsibilities will include: Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct assessments to identify training needs and plan, source and co-develop tailored learning solutions that meet the unique requirements of our teams. Program Development: Support in the creation of engaging and high-quality learning content, ensuring it aligns with regulatory standards and best practices in complex care. Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and analyse the effectiveness of learning programs, gathering feedback to continuously improve our offerings. Collaboration: Work closely with operational leaders and external partners to ensure that training initiatives are relevant and impactful. Essential Criteria To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualifications Health and Social Care SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience; recogni s ed teaching qualification (e.g., Level 4 AET, PTLLS) is desirable. Experience Extensive experience working with individuals with complex physical or mental health needs and developing engaging learning resources. Knowledge Familiarity with Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practices and managing behaviours that challenge. Understanding of national policies related to learning disabilities and mental health. Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess learning needs and measure impact. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Ability to create inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse learning styles. Competencies: Ability to plan, prioriti s e, and manage multiple projects effectively. Flexibility to adapt training approaches based on feedback and changing needs.
