We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join a central government team as part of a large transformation programme. This role will focus on developing and managing a portfolio of Facilities Management (FM) services, supporting both hard (engineering) and soft FM categories. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of public sector procurement processes and extensive experience in contract and supplier relationship management.
Key accountabilities:

* Assist internal customers in creating detailed and precise statements of need for a range of FM services.
* Assist the development of “statement of need” for portfolio of FM services
* Lead market engagement activities to gather insights and inform procurement strategies.
* Build tender suite of documents and recommend routes to market.
* Hard FM: Focus on engineering-related services.
* Soft FM: Manage services such as cleaning, catering, security, and more.
* Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring commercial assurance and strong supplier relationships.
* Engage with key stakeholders to ensure procurement activities meet organisational needs while managing specific categories effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:

* Proven experience in Procurement, Contract Management, Commercial Management, and Supplier Relationship Management.
* Expertise in both Hard (engineering) and Soft FM categories.
* Solid understanding of NEC contract frameworks (non-construction related).
* Strong Public Sector Procurement knowledge, with the ability to create and manage tender suites.
* Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and provide commercial assurance.
