Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Senior General Foreman. Location: Site based, at Rede near Bury St. Edmonds Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Senior General Foremen to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Senior General Foreman ? Working under the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Supervisors, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. You will s uccessfully install Non-Infra works including civils works, p umping station building and the MIECA equipment including large diameter pipes compact asset boundaries. You will be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality and performance standards and ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and AW approved standards. Key responsibilities: Accountable for SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) performance of Projects, including undertaking and record findings of periodic SHEQ visits Acts as an ambassador for the SPA and partner organisation by supporting, promoting and implementing all company and Business Unit initiative Oversee the management of site-based Supervisors, Delivery Teams and relevant areas of the supply chain Responsible for delivery of projects in line with tender allowances and agreed programmes of work, actively managing any slippage of programme or costs Oversee and coach sub-contractor performance, ensuring variations are kept to an absolute minimum Timely completion of projects, safely and within budget. Compile and collate final contract documentation, “As-built” drawings, test sheets etc. for inclusion into Operation & Maintenance Manuals and health and safety files Ensuring a ll safety documentation is kept up to date, current and communicated & accepted by site-based teams A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours…. We are looking for engaged and passionate Senior General Foreman who: Have k nowledge and e xperience in the water construction industry H ave a certificate in Site Safety Management (or attended 5 day course) & hold a relevant CSCS card First Aid at Work course completed Working in Confined Space (C&G Level 5 equivalent) course completed IOSH Modern COSHH Management Certificate Have knowledge and experience of working to a budget and programme Completed a LOLER course Certified Fire Marshall Commercial and Contractual awareness. Ability to minimise cost and maximise value during project construction phases.
