Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Stoneycroft, Liverpool Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom Assist the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Support SEN students with their social, emotional, and academic development Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best support for SEN students Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience working with SEN students Education: Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) Experience: Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: First Aid Certification Mental Health Awareness training Working Conditions: Work primarily in a school classroom setting Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for occasional additional hours for meetings or training May involve some physical activity and lifting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
