This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Finance or Accounts Assistant who is seeking a temporary opportunity with a dynamic organisation that has a supportive and creative culture.
Based at our client’s vibrant head office in central Bristol, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your key responsibilities as the Finance Assistant will include:
1. Assisting with monthly financial reporting.
2. Processing various financial transactions and journals.
3. Performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Processing Sales and Purchase Ledger invoices and payments in the system.
5. Internal payroll processing.
6. Contributing to the on-going improvement of existing processes and controls.
7. Obtaining authorisations and creating batch payments via the online banking platforms.
8. Supporting other teams to help resolve queries.
9. Supporting the finance team in daily operations and ad-hoc projects.
To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant, you will:
10. Be studying towards / qualified at AAT Level 4 or higher.
11. Have at least 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
12. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
14. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
