An exciting opportunity has become available for Band Rotational Occupational Therapist who has experience or a keen interest in working in the areas of the rotation.
You will be part of a well established rotation. Working as part of a supportive and friendly team providing high quality occupational therapy treatment.
Inpatients - Adult Orthopaedics
Providing Occupational Therapy services to patients across all orthopaedic inpatient wards.
1. Enhanced Recovery
2. Rehabilitation for complex patients
3. The Bone Infection Unit.
Pre-operative Service - Outpatient clinic
4. Clinic and Telemed assessment
Rheumatology Service - Outpatient clinics
Outpatient appointments assessing and providing intervention for rheumatologic conditions.
Sa rcoma Service - Inpatients, Outpatients and Research
Part of the Oxford Sarcoma Service supporting patients both pre and post operatively. Research opportunities.
Prosthetic Service- (Children and Adults)
Services to children and adults. Outpatient clinics and home visits, school visits and work visits.
Trauma Service
To work as part of the trauma and plastics therapy service and wider Major Trauma Centre.
You need to be able to demonstrate excellent team working and communication skills, flexibility to adapt to client needs, sound clinical reasoning, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Main duties of the job
You will be using a wide range of Occupational Therapy skills.
5. To assess and treat patients within each of the rotations.
6. To assist OT Service Manager and Team Leaders in service development and the provision of a quality service.
7. To take responsibility for junior members of staff and delegate duties as necessary, providing appropriate level of support at all times.
You will have opportunities to develop your role within each of the rotations. Training and education are available to support this in each rotation, being supported by senior OT's.
