The Mental Health Pharmacy team in Aberdeen is growing!
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist to join our Mental Health Pharmacy team. The post holder will be a key member of consultant led multi-disciplinary mental health teams and provide patient centred, safe and effective clinical pharmacy services to in-patients and out-patients in Grampian.
The post holder will have the opportunity to work across a range of clinical settings including, Adult Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, Forensic and Eating Disorders Services. You will also support the technician led dispensary service to ensure efficient & responsive supply of medicines to patients within the Mental Health Service. This post includes a commitment to rotational weekend working (approx. 1 day every 8 weekends) in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).
A Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council are mandatory requirements. Previous experience in mental health is not essential and training will be provided. Candidates should have a completed, be undertaking or willing to undertake post-registration training or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
Provisional dates of Wednesday 2nd or Thursday 3rd April have been set for interviews.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
