Job Description:
Annual Compensation - $76,245.00 - 95,379.00 + Year end bonus
Responsible for overseeing and managing the HR Shared Services Department to support Human Resources Benefits, Retirement, Payroll, Leave, and Employment processes. Ensures efficient and quality assistance to all service requests. Acts as one of the HR Systems administrators and provides HRIS technical support to HR Partners to optimize system and data use.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
* 5-7 years of HR experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience preferred
* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
Skills and Abilities:
* Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows products, especially Excel and Word
* Experience with Payroll systems, HRIS, and Database Management Software; Workday and ADP experience is a plus
* Project management, analytical skills, payroll, benefits, and HRIS knowledge
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work well across teams
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Understanding of Federal and State Wage & Labor Laws
* Knowledge of payroll withholding/taxation requirements and reporting
Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed
* SHRM Certification or other HR Certification preferred
* CPP Designation preferred
Tasks Performed:
* Lead the Shared Services operation, including process development, implementation, and maintenance. Oversee personnel, ensuring timely, accurate transactions meeting service goals. Collaborate with HR leadership for strategy.
* Manage the corporate payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments within legal and procedural standards.
* Direct HR Shared Services staff for daily inquiries on Employee Relations, Benefits, Retirement, and Employment. Escalate as needed.
* Provide coaching and development to staff for performance improvement and skill enhancement.
* Serve as the system administrator for Workday.
* Coordinate with other HR areas to ensure self-service functionality and process efficiency. Maintain process maps for HR division.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
