Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-known and highly regarded Renewable Energy business as their Skills and Capability Manager on a full-time, permanent basis, working in their Chief People Officers team. Managing one direct report and reporting directly into the Head of Department, you will be part of a close-knit, high-performing and hugely supportive team environment. You will also oversee an offshore team of 4 who are based overseas. Based primarily remotely, you will occasionally be required to travel to their very modern City of London office for meetings and team strategy days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for managing the Operational training delivery team, identifying improved ways of working, monitoring and budgetary accountability, establishing a roadmap and support on workforce planning to secure the necessary pipeline of talent to deliver the business' growth ambitions, identifying critical skills areas of focus for the business, delivering strategies to reduce organisational skills gap risks, managing the business' approach to skills promotion in community areas, leading the annual reporting and implementation of key recommendations of skills outcomes/performance and anticipating future market requirements.
