About the role
Balfour Beatty, a leading international infrastructure group, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Proposal Manager to join our Regional Build and Regional Civils team in Warrington. In this role you will support the preparation and management of high quality proposals for major infrastructure projects across our regional portfolio.
Our ideal candidate will have strong technical experience, a good eye for details and great organisational skills. You will work closely with our Project Managers along with other stakeholders to ensure our bids align with client expectations, company standards and best practices.
What you'll be doing
As a Assistant Proposal Manager you will:
* Liaise with the Work Winning team to develop bid proposals
* Have strong engagement, communications and complete PQQs and tenders
* Coordinate proposals input to include continuous improvement, best practice and knowledge sharing
* Coordinate resource for the best value delivery of work winning strategy
* Prepare bid submissions to meet tender requirements and exceed quality expectations.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
* A background in proposal/Bid writing in a Civil Engineering or Construction environment.
* Excellent written skills
* Experience of preparing tenders and PQQ
* Good technical knowledge
* Strong stakeholder Management.
