Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento) Developer - Trowbridge
Leading food production & commercial catering company require an Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento) developer to work out of their Trowbridge.
This company operate some of the UK's and South West best known food brands.
They are looking for an experienced Adobe Commerce Cloud Developer who has a strong background in Adobe Commerce (Magento) and a proven track record of providing architectural and security guidance on E-commerce solutions. Working with our development partners, this role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital commerce platforms, ensuring velocity, security, and reliability in our development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Point of contact for Adobe Commerce Cloud platform, development and management
* Security assessment of Adobe Commerce Cloud implementation, provide recommendations and drive security improvements
* Work with our security and compliance team to conduct comprehensive audits to maintain the security of our E-commerce platforms, ensuring vulnerabilities are fixed and applications are patched with a sense of urgency
* Point of contact for 3rd party development partner ensuring all aspects all developments are within best practice for both functionality and security
* Validate and document existing solution architecture and help create a clear technical strategy for Adobe Commerce.
* Help to shape and enforce a robust software development life cycle to ensure streamline, efficient, secure, modern, and compliant processes.
* Work with partners to help us automate code quality and security mechanisms and validate solutions provided by third-party vendors, ensuring they meet industry best practice.
* Stay in-step with industry trends and advances in Adobe Commerce and related technologies, providing recommendations for enhancements and strategic direction. Share this knowledge with others.
* Offer leadership and technical guidance on both existing and future E-commerce platform implementations.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors to direct and enhance the delivery of E-commerce solutions.
* Advocate for a "configuration first" methodology to reduce the necessity for custom development, promoting sustainable and scalable solutions.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in Magento 2.0/Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento) platforms.
* Strong understanding of E-commerce architecture and best practices.
* Strong understanding of E-commerce and security best practice
* Managed 3rd party development on and off-shore including multiple system integrators
* Demonstrable experience with modern software development practices such as CI/CD, feature flagging in the Adobe Commerce Cloud space.
* Familiar with agile principles and how they improve software delivery.
* Strong communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
This position is based in Trowbridge for 2-3 days a week and offers a basic salary between £60-70k with an excellent benefits package and additional package.
