Job Description Chief Executive's Directorate Elected Members Officer City Chambers Salary: £32,010 - £37,616 Hours: 36 per week We are seeking an flexible, creative and ambitious individual to provide comprehensive and efficient business and administrative support to Elected Members of the City of Edinburgh Council. You will work closely with councillors to assist them across all their responsibilities, coordinating case work to resolve issues for residents and supporting them as they take part in decision making at council and committees. You will be the the first point of contact for enquiries to councillors from the public and a range of external stakeholders and will need to respond appropriately directing and prioritising as needed. With a good understanding of the council's services structure and decision making process you will ensure that councillors are able to fulfil their roles to serve the residents of Edinburgh. This is a varied and exciting role working closely with elected members to support them in their various tasks. Excellent administration and IT skills are needed but these need to be combined with a flexible and responsive approach focussed on high standards of customer care.
