What you’ll do day to day
* Develop the Sales Executives within the team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
* Support the sales executives in negotiating the terms of agreements and closure of sales.
* Gather market and customer information.
* Negotiate variations in price, delivery, and specifications with other managers.
* Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
* Check quantities of goods on display and in stock, advising Sales Executives.
* Check vehicles in build with production and be a key point of contact.
* Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
* Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
* Train and develop Sales Executives within the Team.
* Conduct regular performance reviews with employees.
Helpful skills and qualifications

* Demonstrate a strong understanding of key success drivers essential for consistently strong results in business growth, net profit, and cost control, along with high levels of employee and customer satisfaction.
* While previous automotive experience will be beneficial, attitude and character are more important to us.
* Strong leadership abilities and a deep care for customer satisfaction and loyalty are essential.
* A hands-on leader and financially aware.
* Ability to negotiate at all levels with strong leadership skills.
* Motor Industry experience is preferable.
* Ability to work to timescales effectively.
* Keen eye for detail, good communication, and a passion for delivering great customer service.
* Strong industry knowledge.
* Ability to work under pressure.
