The Pathology Department at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an IT support role as part of an exciting development opportunity involving the implementation and delivery of a new IT system.
We are looking for someone who is committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a solid understanding of IT and pathology data flows and experience of working in an NHS laboratory or similar environment.
This post holder will support the Pathology IT and Laboratory Managers, assisting with testing, training, implementation and troubleshooting of the new IT system. This role is focussed on the roll out of the laboratory information management system (LIMS), but may involve other systems including digital pathology and other laboratory based solutions.
To be considered for the role you must have the appropriate experience and knowledge in working in a hospital pathology laboratory or similar healthcare environment (as documented in the person specification).
