In this role, you will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring deadlines are met. They are a business that values innovation, dedication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working directly with the Finance Director and alongside a variety of senior stakeholders across the business, your role will blend both the financial and commercial elements of finance including:
1. Production of monthly MI, Financial KPI's & reports
2. Cash management and internal controls
3. Developing systems and processes to ensure improved efficiencies are achieved; and continually reviewing and developing these to improve efficiency and drive automation
4. Identify opportunities to reduce costs, via overhead reviews & savings
5. Development and implementation of finance-related projects
6. Oversee evaluation and training of finance department employees
7. Development, analysis, reporting, and monitoring of staff KPI's
8. Co-ordinate and monitor office operations to ensure company requirements are achieved
9. Financial planning and analysis using MI and KPI reports
10. Management and development of accounting systems and the finance function
11. Analyse and identify profitability of all areas of business
12. Strategic and commercial support to senior management
13. Ad hoc projects and input to business operations
