The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the Centre, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our alarm monitoring services. About The Lifeline Alarm And TEC Service Mole Valley Life’s nationally recognised, award winning and TSA accredited, Lifeline Alarm and TEC service utilises traditional telecare equipment, alongside cutting edge digital technology and proactive wellbeing calls, to provide bespoke, person centred solutions for clients; empowering them to live independently at home for longer. About The Role Oversee the daily operations of the TEC Alarm Receiving Centre, including staffing, training, and performance management. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of alarm monitoring processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including BS9518.2021 Manage and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Analyse and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a crisis. Lead on the recruitment, training, and development of ARC Emergency Call Handlers. Prepare staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times. Test and implement new equipment monitoring systems. Ensure compliance with GDPR and safeguarding regulations. Maintain robust business continuity systems and arrangements. Conduct risk assessments and ensure operational best practices. Provide an efficient response to customer complaints and feedback. Ensure accurate data collection, inputting, maintenance, retention, and deletion. Promote a healthy and safe working environment. What are we looking for from you? Substantial experience in a similar or related environment, with relevant experience in staff and service management. Experience in preparing staff rotas and managing people. Knowledge of a call handling platform (ideally Jontek Answerlink). Degree level education or relevant industry experience. Certificate of competence in First Aid at Work. Full UK driving license (maximum 6 points). Ability to lead a team and motivate people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on own initiative and resolve complex issues. Awareness of safeguarding, child protection issues, and professional boundaries. Strong multitasking ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Commitment to service improvement and performance management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Highly organized and methodical approach. Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends. Commitment to the highest standards of customer care. Can-do and flexible attitude to work and problem-solving.
