Aircamo are looking for a highly motivated and experienced engine workshop Technician to become part of a dynamic team at a fast-growing business based in Hawarden, North Wales.
Responsibilities
1. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager.
2. Ensuring that all work is performed to regulatory standards in accordance with the approved maintenance data.
3. Delivering a quality product to a high standard in a safe and timely manner.
4. Control of contracted hours to ensure product is delivered within budget.
5. Be an effective team player and communicator with staff and our customer base.
6. Experience of supervising a small team.
7. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop floor environment to audit standard.
8. Management of Health & Safety policy.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Ideally will hold a B1 licence with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or a minimum of 2 years’ experience of certifying in an engine workshop environment with Trent 700, 1000, 7000, XWB, CFM56 and V2500 Part 147 type ratings or OEM approved courses. This is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
2. Be able to evidence recency of 6 months experience in the last 24-month period on product type.
3. Trained and qualified in the use of boroscope equipment would be of benefit.
4. A good understanding of Part 145 regulatory requirements.
5. Current in HF, EWIS, FTS and have received SMS training.
6. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel ideal but not essential.
7. Experience in working away from an approved facility or workshop.
The successful candidate will serve an initial 3-month probationary period.
