Job Summary
The Global Onboarding Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the overall new hire onboarding experience at Swissport as the centre of excellence expert. In partnership with the Global Head of TA, this position is responsible for creating and executing seamless end to end onboarding related initiatives, programmes and strategies for all new employees, ensuring a positive and engaging experience that sets them up for success. This role focuses on enhancing employee satisfaction, improving retention rates, and fostering a strong company culture from the outset.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain an engaging, structured onboarding process across all roles of the organization, to drive retention and speed to productivity.
* Create blended learning strategies to ensure an appropriate administrative, professional, and cultural introduction to the company that drives engagement.
* Align and Incorporate Swissport company culture and values into all onboarding activities.
* Develop materials and tools (e.g., manager instructions, checklists, informational web sites) to help facilitate the onboarding process. Improve onboarding experience by soliciting feedback about current processes.
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers on how to effectively onboard new hires for increased engagement and retention.
* Guide orientation events and practices, including pre-boarding, first day orientation and post-onboarding to ensure focus on the new hire experience.
* Collaborate with subject-matter experts, HR teams, and managers to design, develop, and revise onboarding materials ensuring role-specific training is incorporated.
* Consults with various teams including corporate social responsibility, talent, communications, and others to identify and launch key organizational initiatives.
* Drive collaboration with HR Business Partners to incubate and deploy new programs designed to increase engagement.
* Develop proposals and business cases for impactful programs that can enhance the employee experience and overall satisfaction.
* Research and provide insights into onboarding best practices and key market trends.
* Leverage onboarding platforms and tools to streamline processes and provide a modern, engaging experience.
* Ensure smooth coordination between HR systems for onboarding documentation and data.
* Establish key metrics to measure the effectiveness of onboarding initiatives, monitor and analyze data to track progress, identify trends and help inform data-driven decisions.
Experiences and Skills:
* Bachelors Degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
* Proven experience and a strong understanding of new hire onboarding and employee experience concepts, best practices and trends
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Passion for creating a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity and inclusion.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
