As part of the global Thai Union group, John West is the market leader in canned seafood products in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands and has a growing export business. The Inbound Logistics Coordinator sits as part of the John West Logistics team reporting to the John West Logistics Manager. As Inbound Logistics Coordinator you will provide administrative support for Inbound Logistics from supplying factories (both Group owned and 3rd party). Your Responsibilities: Track all inbound freight from Thai Union Europe factories, Co-packers to UK warehouse, flagging any delays that will cause product availability issues; follow up with all suppliers on any delays to shipments. Ensure freight pricing conditions are updated monthly and update Purchase Orders with duty. Support with volume forecasting for co-pack Stock. Keeping Units and maintain Co-pack Purchase Trackers for all John West markets. Responsible for raising all Contracts / Purchase Orders and tracking Service Level Agreements for same Support New Product Development process to create new material codes for finished goods, packaging, and ingredients; allocating/publishing barcodes, extending materials to plants/distribution channels; creating Purchase Invoice Requisitions (PIRs), source lists and liaise with Quality Assurance to create Quality Invoice Requisitions (QIRs); creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) for local rework.
