Responsibilities
* Support the Quality & Materials Lead in pursuing business objectives.
* Enforce the Quality Management Systems across the site, ensuring products and services consistently meet high quality standards.
* Assist with the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements.
* Ensure that all work meets customer expectations on delivery and quality.
* Be flexible and adaptable, moving between work areas as required.
* Carry out any other reasonable request by the Senior Management Team.
Role Description
* Ensure that agreed customer delivery times are achieved through maintaining product conformity.
* Manage the administration of any non-conformance and corrective action reporting.
* Control the Quality Management System by updating & issuing procedures as appropriate.
* Control the calibration system.
* Participate in investigations and problem solving.
* Participate in actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance relating to product, process, and quality system.
* Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system.
* Control further processing and delivery of non-conforming product until deficiencies have been corrected.
* Support activities to drive close-out of actions to prevent non-conformance.
* Undertake internal QMS audits to ensure product and process conformity.
* Support process owners in the review and update of process procedures and instructions.
* Prepare certification and shipping documents.
* Archive records as required.
* Provide Materials Engineering support as required.
* Collate and publish Quality metrics.
Knowledge & Experience
* Graduate – preferably Engineering Degree including materials modules.
* IT literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* High degree of numerical ability.
* Good communication and problem solving skills.
* Capable of working with minimal supervision and under pressure.

* Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:15pm.
* Friday - 8am to 3pm.
