Job Overview: As a result of continued growth within our firm, we are seeking to expand our Tax team and are looking for a highly motivated and experienced UK Tax Senior. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK tax advisory with a solid understanding of compliance processes. Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Tax Director and senior team members you will be involved in a mix of advisory and compliance matters. Advisory: Providing high-quality tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients across various industries. Advising on complex UK tax matters including corporate tax, VAT, income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax. Supporting clients with M&A activities, restructuring, and corporate reorganisations. Managing relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for tax-related queries. Compliance: Overseeing the preparation of UK and ROI corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other required documentation for clients. Monitoring and applying changes in tax legislation, ensuring compliance and advising clients on implications. To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have: Professional qualifications such asCTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent experience at CTA level. A minimum of 3 years experience in UK tax, with a strong focus on advisory. Exposure to a range of tax compliance tasks (corporate and individual) is desirable. Experience in managing client relationships. In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax, VAT, personal taxes, and other relevant areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues. The ability to work effectively as part of a motivated team. A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff. Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
