Head of Reporting Salary £90,000 and £125,000 This is a great role for someone with financial reporting experience who is passionate about driving performance and ensuring process excellence The IWR Financial Reporting teams, led by the IWR Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis to various collaborators with different needs. They report on multiple metrics and handle the complexity of UK life insurance products. A bit about the job : This role involves ensuring process excellence and high-quality financial reporting for Group and entity reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders, such as the external auditor and Group external reporting team, to provide reporting analysis and support accounting policy changes. You will also act as a champion of transformation by driving operational excellence and operating model changes within the consolidation and reporting team, supporting realisation of the finance vision for IWR. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Qualified Accountant or Actuary with experience in senior finance roles within the Financial Services sector Good knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks as applicable to financial services companies Good understanding of the life and retail financial services industry is desirable Proven experience of leading the initiation and delivery of change Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and focused way to a range of internal and external collaborators What you’ll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
