Location: Camborne (hybrid working options will be considered although Camborne will be the main base)
Salary: £56,100 (spot salary)

About the Role
As the Head of Business Intelligence, you will lead our Business Intelligence team to help us create greater impact through better use of data. You will use your knowledge and experience to help shape, develop and implement the College's vision to support our staff and learners through the provision of exceptional systems, reporting and insights. This hands-on role involves the design, development, and maintenance of strategic and operational reporting, dashboards, data flows, and systems that are critical to the operations of the College. You will play a key role in shaping the technologies that support data integration across key systems including MIS (ProSolution/ProMonitor), Finance (OpenAccounts), and HR (iTrent).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and actively contribute to the Business Intelligence team to deliver data-rich platforms that enhance operational and strategic decision-making.
* Manage and secure management information systems, services and associated databases, ensuring effective support for management, teaching, learning, and business operations.
* Collaborate on cross-college technical projects, effectively liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Plan and implement major developments and upgrades to systems used by staff and students, ensuring change controls and risk analysis are effectively communicated and minimize disruption.
Skills & Experience
Applicants must have knowledge and demonstrable experience of Power BI, an in-depth knowledge and experience of SSRS, SIS and Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge of Further Education systems (ProSolution, ProAchieve etc.) is also essential. Previous experience of working within a Further Education establishment is desirable.
