Senior Claims Manager - International Property – Salary - Competitive We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Claims Manager - International Property on a permanent basis. We are looking for a n experienced claims handler who has extensive experience in handling complex, high profile and large Commercial Property claims, including European and Multinational London Market claims, to take up a Technical Claims Expert role within Technical Claims. A bit about the job: You’ll be responsible for the management of a large Commercial Property claims portfolio, including European and Multinational high value and complex claims. In addition, you will contribute to the quality assurance of claims being handled within the team. You’ll assist with the embedding of our claims philosophy, standards and best practice with a focus o n the delivery of financial results within the team. You’ll make recommendations for process improvements and undertake relationship management with key stakeholders. You’ll enhance the ability of the team to perform through quality assurance and regular coaching and feedback and by the identification of training needs. You’ll facilitate the delivery of our claims philosophies & standards and best practice, including estimating, as well as the delivery of financial results within your team. You’ll have in depth technical knowledge of claims handling, fraud and impacting legislation at a level which enables the provision of strategic decision making and direction. Skills and experience we’re looking for: In-depth experience in handling complex, high profile, and large Commercial Property claims (in excess of £1m) Extensive experience in handling European and London Market Multinational claims Knowledge of fraud, FOS outcomes and impacting legislation in respect of own business unit or discipline at a level which enables the provision of strategic decision making and direction. Exceptional claims handling capability in respect of own business unit or discipline. Private practice experience or ACII, Cert CILA, RICS, COB qualifications preferred.
