We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Supported Living Services based in the Trowbridge area on a part time basis, 30 hours per week
A driver with a full UK licence is essential for this role. Some of the people we support have their own cars which they would like you to be able to drive.
About our Services
We are looking for Support Workers to join our Supported Living Services, which are based across two addresses in Trowbridge. The ideal applicant will be calm, with a sense of humour and fun, to support a wide range of ages who enjoy attending clubs and social activities in the Trowbridge area. The role will support a number of services, and the successful applicant will be expected to work across the two sites.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Being able to reduce social isolation of people with a learning disability.
- Being able to increase the independence and confidence of individuals with a learning disability.
- Enabling the people with a learning disability to fully access their local communities.
Contract options:
- Part-time: 30 hours
Shift times:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
- Days: Between 07:00-10:00pm
There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70
*Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
