Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and experienced Head of Care (RGN) looking for a new challenge? Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead their client's nursing service, specialising in neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with extensive knowledge of health and safety, clinical risk, and quality management, as well as a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care.
What we’re looking for
* Qualification and registration: Registered General Nurse (Adult) qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin.
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience.
* Mentorship Qualification: Mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
* Specialised Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of working with individuals with acquired brain injuries and/or related mental health disorders.
* Medication Management Expertise: Strong ability to manage and audit medication processes in line with regulatory requirements.
* Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Health and Safety Knowledge: A thorough understanding of health and safety, clinical risk management, and quality improvement.

Your day-to-day
* Lead Care Delivery: Lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to residents, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
* Team Leadership and Support: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to the care team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and uphold the highest standards of care quality.
* Medication Management: Oversee and audit the safe receiving, ordering, handling, and administration of medication.
* Error Management: Manage medication errors effectively, taking appropriate corrective actions as needed.
* Care Plan Development: Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Mentorship and Staff Development: Mentor and support care staff, acting as a role model and providing professional development opportunities.
* Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with external healthcare professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of all residents.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of care services through feedback, innovation, and best practice sharing.
