The postholder will possess the skills to screen relevant referrals, undertake risk assessments, have the capability to work under pressure, and will require exceptional engagement skills to work with young people and families. The postholder will need to possess the appropriate skills to work collaboratively with Senior Mental Health Leads in schools and colleges to ensure that children and young people are able to access mental health support in the right place at the right time. Additionally, the postholder will need to demonstrate the ability to maintain a high standard of patient care and be professionally responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of the program of care provided.
