Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our Testing & Inspection team. You will have skills & experience as a T&I Electrician and this position plays a vital role within our team. You will be responsible for assesing, testing & inspecting electrical equipment on our sites. Along with making sure electrical components meet the industry standards and regulations.

What will you deliver?
1. Work with Site Manager to identify obsolete and end-of-life-cycle equipment for input into the forward maintenance plan and updating of the asset register
2. Operate and maintain the plant at the sites identified above in line with existing procedures
3. Supervise works carried out by specialist sub-contractors, reporting anomalies to the Contract Supervisor / Site Management
4. Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements
5. Ensure all statutory records are kept up to date and available for inspection
6. To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs)
7. To be familiar with and understand the site contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations
8. To carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, Lightening Protection
9. To ensure that the Site Manager/T&I Supervisor is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances
10. To assist in producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments

Who are we looking for?
22. Apprenticeship, primary trade qualifications and substantial experience within a building services and manufacturing environment
23. ONC/C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline (Essential)
24. C&G, or equivalent Testing & Inspection (Essential)
25. 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (Essential)
26. HND/HNC Electrical Qualification (Desirable)
27. CMMS (SAM FM) (Desirable)
28. Experience within Building Services & Manufacturing environment (Desirable)
