The role-holder will be accountable for the following areas:
* Maintaining the overall plan of all initiatives QACS are involved in to improve service to our customers and advisers. This will include identifying inter-dependencies between initiatives, including people stretch, and escalating risks and issues to senior management.
* Participating in, or leading, service improvement initiatives to improve our overall service proposition to clients and advisers.
* Working closely with readiness leads to ensure people readiness activities are factored into our development schedule and will not impact BAU operations.
Alongside the above, the role-holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across QACS to fulfil all duties required of the role.
About You
To be successful in this role we are looking the following qualities,
* You will have a keen eye for detail and an enquiring, analytical approach to work you undertake.
* You will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office products, but also, ideally, in the use of project planning software.
* You will be able to work with colleagues at all levels to identify areas of change and how they inter-relate. You will also be comfortable to escalate issues, risks or general areas of concern to senior management.
* You will be confident to present at departmental meetings or to audiences outside of operations.
* You will be able to distil complex and potentially fast changing requests into meaningful plans and you will respond confidently and articulately to stakeholders at all levels across the business. Within the role you will have early insight into upcoming changes so discretion and professionalism are critical. You should be able to manage ambiguity and changing or competing requirements and remain responsive to queries and challenge.
* Alongside being accountable for our plans, you will also be required to lead research assignments and initiatives to understand how we compare to industry peers, for example. As such, you will be comfortable to use your own initiative when structuring activities and able to work equally on your own or as part of a team.
