Financial Controller
Salary: £50k-£60k per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday / General Office Hours
Location: Wrexham
Our client based in Wrexham currently has an opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Performance Objectives
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Cashflow forecasting.
3. Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
4. Payroll preparation and submission to bureau.
5. Profit and loss margin analysis by products.
6. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
7. Oversee stock management system.
8. Present key financial information to senior management.
9. Key contact for auditors and banking partners.
10. Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and IT systems.
11. Management of a small finance team/HR administration.
12. Liaising with auditors for year-end statutory accounts preparation.
Person Specification
1. The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
2. Experience of working within an SME.
3. Competent leadership skills are crucial.
4. The role holder will be required to partner with the MD.
5. Excellent staff management skills are crucial.
6. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
