Our client is looking for a Psychotherapist for their amazing site in Scotland Client Details A leader in their field Description Biopsychosocial admissions assessment. Individualised treatment planning. Facilitate individual and group / family therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients and families. Continuing care teletherapy. Other forms of therapy and weekend shift rota. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional standards and regulations. Successful candidates will also be expected to co-ordinate all aspects of therapeutic care for patients including follow up with referral sources. Stay informed about current research and best practices in psychotherapy to enhance clinical skills. Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to maintain and improve therapeutic techniques. Profile A recognised qualification in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work, along with relevant accreditation from a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) as detailed below. Proven experience in providing psychotherapy or counselling services in a clinical setting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active listening. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of mental health legislation and ethical guidelines governing practice. A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in the field of psychotherapy. Registered member of an accrediting body (AP, COSCA, BACP and BABCP) and working towards accreditation. Competency evaluated & can carry a full caseload - following an induction period. Therapists will be supported towards the goal of achieving accreditation with training and supervision support. Specific Level 4 Specialist Therapist Requirements: Must be accredited with AP (NCAC), or BACP, BABCP, COSCA, (or registered with UKCP or HCPC), or recognised equivalent. Specialist Therapists will be training and developing specialisms in problem specific competencies - e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR, gambling, addiction, eating disorders. psychosocial admissions assessment.
