Our client is an established law firm who work with several housing associations. Responsibilities: Typing and preparing correspondence, documents and forms with a high degree of accuracy. Opening, updating and closing matter files and ensuring file compliance. Preparing bills. Corresponding with clients, as requested by fee earners, via email, phone and face to face. Preparation of all forms of documentation commonly used in commercial and residential property transactions. Undertaking ID verification and anti-money laundering compliance checks Using the Land Registry portal to obtain documentation and submit applications for registrations. Preparation of Stamp Duty Returns and submission of returns using the HMRC portal. Experience required Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in a Conveyancing or Property Litigation team Experience of audio typing Good computer literacy including Word, HMRC, Stamp Duty Land Tax and case management system. Fast and accurate typing Close attention to detail Discretion and confidentiality Salary: Up to £34k p/annum Benefits: Pension of 4% employee and 4% employer contributions, Life Assurance of 3x salary, 24 days holiday leading up to 30 days with length of service, free car parking and a discretionary bonus scheme.
