About the Role
Part-Time, Reduced Year contract: 27.5 hours per week - 38 weeks per year
We are seeking an enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to work closely with the Chef Manager to manage the student café service to a high standard, assist in preparing food and snacks, deliver excellent customer service, and keep the kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy at all times.
What You Will Do
* Ensure customers receive prompt and efficient service, exceeding expectations.
* Assist the Chef Manager in food preparation.
* Operate an EPOS till.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all café and kitchen areas, including washing up and cleaning equipment.
* Perform other duties as required, consistent with the level of the post.
About You

* Ability to accept criticism and work under pressure.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
