Job Title: Estimator Location: Blackburn Our client is on the look out for an experience Estimator to prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities for construction projects. The role involves collaborating with project teams, negotiating contracts, and managing project risks related to cost control. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis. Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets. Collaborate with teams to identify cost-saving opportunities. Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Manage risks related to project costs and prepare progress reports. Prepare and issue work programs and risk assessments when required. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs. Proficient in cost estimating software and Excel. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
