Position Overview
As a Summer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the wealth advisory industry, focusing on multifamily office services, generational planning, and financial strategies. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about finance and understanding the intricacies of multigenerational wealth management and family governance.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing financial planning materials and reports, including cash flow projections, tax strategies, and estate planning analyses.
* Assist advisors and staff in the development of customized solutions for clients’ needs, such as succession planning and family governance.
* Research financial products, market trends, and legislative updates relevant to high-net-worth individuals and families.
* Participate in client meetings and draft follow-up communications.
* Work on special projects to enhance operational efficiencies within the firm.
* Assist the staff with office-related projects and tasks, as needed.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
* Strong interest in wealth management with a focus on holistic financial planning,
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with financial planning software is a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.
