Position: In-House Property Solicitor Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum (DOE) Benefits We are supporting a UK Property Developer in their search for an In-House Property Solicitor to join their Legal function. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing in-house legal team, playing a key role in supporting residential development projects across the UK. The Role: As an In-House Property Solicitor, you will report to the department and oversee key legal processes related to site set-ups, development matters, and plot sales. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing a range of residential development agreement s, providing legal support across infrastructure and regulatory matters, and supporting a team of conveyancers. Key Responsibilities: Site Set-Ups & Development Matters - Prepare legal documentation and portfolios for plot sales, as well as agreements relating to roads, sewers, drainage, service easements, public open spaces, and management companies. Legal Advisory & Risk Management - Provide legal advice on plot sales, part exchanges, reversion sales, deeds of variation, and other property transactions. Regulatory & Compliance Support - Assist senior legal leadership in regulatory matters, precedent drafting, and case management system development. Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with sales teams, external legal advisors, and internal departments to support business objectives. Process Improvement - Contribute to the ongoing development of internal case management systems and legal frameworks. Supervision & Training - Support and oversee a team of conveyancers, providing guidance, training, and management on key legal processes. What We're Looking For: Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx Fellow), or Licensed Conveyancer (CLC Qualification). Strong residential and/or commercial property experience. Ideally experience handling plot sales and related development matters (either in-house or private practice) is highly desirable. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage legal risks effectively. A proactive, motivated, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. IT literate with a confident approach to case management systems and process improvements.
