Job overview
The Clinical Lead is a key leadership role and is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of all clinical aspects of NSFT’s Staff Support offering. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about developing the recently remodelled service and working with staff across the organisation, to address issues of personal and professional wellbeing, in relation to their employment. The Clinical Lead, in conjunction with the Service Manager, will help to shape the team to ensure that the value of what is delivered is both understood within the Trust and is sustainable for the future.
This is an opportunity to work in a team of experienced clinicians, including TRiM practitioners, mental health nurses and therapists who work across wider front-line services to offer support to staff, using a Trauma Informed approach focusing on resilience and recovery. There is also an active research & evaluation agenda, with a BME Engagement & Research Lead and the service welcomes people with an interest in this area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a programme of clinical governance and audit, tying delivery to measured outcomes.
Please note that though hybrid working is a possibility, this is not a remote working role and the successful candidate will sometimes be required to be present on site for clinical and other duties.

This role involves providing direct clinical care to staff within the organisation, strategic development of the service, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will provide specialised psychological support to staff members experiencing occupational trauma and other relevant clinical presentations. Duties of the role include:
* To provide a high quality specialist clinical psychology service for people with complex mental health problems across the Trust.
* To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the governance of psychological practice within the Service.
* To supervise and support the psychological assessment and intervention provided by an 8a psychologist and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.
* To provide specialist knowledge and consultation to staff at all levels and contribute to their development.
* To utilise research and training skills and knowledge for audit, policy and service development.
* To work with the Service Manager to deliver agreed objectives and outcomes.
