Job Scope:
To support in maintaining all people processes, structures and frameworks, focusing not only on compliance but engagement of the Dynamic Merchandise team. Working to strategically support and advise a board of directors and MD to ensure that all people activities are aligned to business objectives. A stand-alone role that has advisory support provided by a third party for case management.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead recruitment activities of all seasonal temporary workers including RTW checks, starter paperwork and resourcing of appropriate candidates.
2. Support line managers through complex ER cases with the support of a 3rd party provider.
3. Maintain and update people policies and procedures that are fit for the context of the business.
4. Encourage managers to deliver regular coaching conversations that support development and workforce planning activities.
5. Support line managers through all ER matters, such as conduct, performance and capability.
6. Deliver an annual calendar of HR events and activities including but not limited to, benchmarking, reward, benefits reviews and annual bonus planning.
7. Ensure compliance of mandatory training of colleagues and regular refreshers where appropriate.
8. Actively work on employee engagement through regular interventions and activities.
9. Support in identifying skills gaps and finding solutions through the outsource of L&D provision.
10. Provide recruitment and selection support and guidance for managers with permanent roles, including ensuring onboarding and reviews run smoothly.
11. Support all personnel administration including regular audits of systems and files.

Skills, Qualifications & Competencies:
1. CIPD level 5 minimum requirement (or working towards with significant experience).
2. Proficient in using Microsoft packages – particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
3. Well versed in employment legislation.
4. Excellent organisational skills.
5. Able to independently work.
6. Experienced in presenting ideas, information and updates to the board and team.
7. Competent in updating and shaping new people policies and procedures.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
