Your role of Internal Communications and Events Specialist sits within our friendly and creative Marketing department.
Your Role:
The Internal Communications & Events Specialist is a key part of the Employer Brand team, bringing to life numerous campaigns and projects for Joules employees.
This part time role will be shaping the Internal Communication landscape for Joules through engaging campaigns and business critical messages to ensure the business can grow.
1. Responsible for maintaining current business as usual activities for internal communications and events while at the same time pushing forward and implementing new and exciting changes.
2. Working closely with the Employer Brand and HR Teams to improve communication. This will include reaching out for relevant input, context and co-ordinating with existing messages to avoid duplication.
3. Producing innovative, well written copy that is both timely and relevant for our internal communication platforms – plus ensure it fits with the Joules tone of voice and the Employer Brand.
4. Continual development of our communications platforms, Life at Joules, the employee events and other communication channels.
5. Educating others on the best way to communicate in their teams and business areas.
6. Building and creating content that will live on the internal communications channels. The content needs to be engaging and fit in with the various Employer Brand messages and business needs.
7. Analyse and report on the internal communications campaigns and identify opportunities that we can then build content and strategies around.
8. Supporting and running of internal events for departments or the entire business.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:
18. Excellent copywriting skills - plus the ability to proofread.
19. A solid creative skill set. Especially in Adobe Suite - photoshop and Illustrator knowledge are a must.
20. Strong understanding of Google Workspace - in particular the ability to create and maintain Google Sites.
21. Event planning experience.
22. Strong people skills at all levels.
23. Google Analytics experience
24. Optimising content for SEO
25. Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro - video editing skills.
26. A good understanding and knowledge of Employer Branding and how it operates.
27. Experience working in an internal communication role or environment.
28. Knowledge of Policies, Processes, Terms & Conditions & GDPR

This is a full time role based at our Head Office.
