They are currently seeking a driven and dedicated Senior Children's Support Worker to work in a Children's Residential Home setting. As a senior support worker, you assist people with various physical challenges to improve their quality of life and independence The role of the Senior Support worker will be to: Lead the team of care assistants they are responsible for and train new staff Have ownership of the care plan, including the creation of the care plan and its delivery Monitor general health and vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure Communicate with families about their relative’s progress Deliver activities to stimulate and engage residents Fill in medication reports Assist residents in dressing, washing and using the bathroom Serve meals and assist with feeding when required To qualify for this role, you must have the following: Have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Childrens and Young People Be a driver with a clean UK Driving Licence Full DBS in place Must have previous Ofsted experience and a minimum of 1 year experience working within a Children's Residential Home setting To register your interest, please click Apply Now
