Development of our staff is central to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care. We can offer opportunities to develop leadership and clinical skills within a supportive environment, and our staff survey results reflect our commitment to facilitate your career progression.
As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.
Specific to this role, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service.
We are seeking a Band 7 GPhC registered Pharmacist who can demonstrate good problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
Post graduate Diploma in pharmacy practice desirable; if not yet achieved, support and funding for further development may be provided.
In a challenging but rewarding post, you will support and develop staff and services to meet the needs of different service users and further develop established dispensary clinical services.
You will be supervising, teaching, and providing clinical leadership. Negotiating and influencing skills, using initiative and teamwork will be required, but training and support will be provided within this supportive team.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with a wider range of people including patients and doctors, and representing the pharmacy at service user meetings.
Travelling between sites and occasional off-site travel will be required.
Usual working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00. You will be required to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays (usually no more than 1:6) as part of the commitment to establish a 7-day working week.
