Specifications Team Leader – 12 month Fixed Term Contract
THE ORGANISATION
This is a key support role for a highly regarded and market-leading international regulatory partner, providing the food industry with world-class regulatory, product information and compliance mentoring, guidance and support, locally in the UK and further afield, internationally.
THE ROLE
Essentially, you would be leading a specialist team of compliance advisors and facilitating service delivery in line with deep-routed organisational values and world-class service deliverables. You will support your team, providing daily support on all aspects of service delivery, is order to ensure the highest level of quality services are delivered to your portfolio of clients.
This is a client-facing role and typically the first point of contact representing the business. You will be responsible for day to day management of one or more client accounts, engaging with the client to support and enable a robust service delivery, facilitating delivery by ensuring clear guidance is provided to all stakeholders.
Line managing a team of specialist advisors, being the first point of contact for technical and regulatory issues, resolving and escalating any issues with resourcing and workload, and providing daily support for your team.
This is a home-based career opportunity, where you will work remotely; it is also a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
ABOUT YOU
Essentially you must have Compliance/Specifications/Regulatory industry experience working in a Technical/Regulatory role, accompanied by in-depth regulatory and/or regulatory knowledge, ideally across a range of Food, Beverages and similar categories.
Practical experience of writing, checking and/or using Food/Beverage specifications and/or artwork packages is also essential.
An awareness of relevant food regulatory changes, in areas such as legislation, case law etc would be hugely advantageous, coupled with a good understanding of product legal requirements, challenges and trends, etc.
You must be highly competent in the following areas;
