Night Care Manager
Location: Dudley, West Midlands

Join our dedicated team at a "Good" CQC-rated care home in Dudley, committed to providing exceptional care for 35 elderly residents, many of whom are living with dementia. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and supported day and night.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Manager to lead our night care team. This role involves senior carer responsibilities with additional management duties to ensure that high standards of care, cleanliness, and record-keeping are consistently maintained throughout the night. You’ll play a key role in supervising night staff, supporting their performance, and ensuring that each resident’s needs are met with respect and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality personal care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the night.
* Provide direct supervision to night care staff, overseeing care tasks, cleanliness, and adherence to resident care plans.
* Conduct regular checks to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment during night hours.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care and observations to support effective handovers and compliance with care standards.
* Remain vigilant to any safeguarding concerns and address promptly, ensuring all night staff are trained in safeguarding protocols.
* Support staff in using PCS (Person-Centered Software) for accurate and thorough care records.
* Foster a positive, respectful team environment by addressing any interpersonal issues promptly and professionally.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a senior carer or supervisory role within a care setting, ideally with night shift experience.
* Experience with PCS (Person-Centered Software) is desirable.
* Relevant certifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or above preferred).
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Commitment to upholding residents' dignity and delivering high-quality care.
* Familiarity with safeguarding practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.
