Business Development Advisor for Merchant Job Title: Business Development Advisor for Merchant Location: 565 Wallisdown Road, Poole, Dorset, BH12 5HD Hours: 42.5 per week Work Pattern: Monday -Saturday Salary: £35,000 Benefits: Detailed below Duties will include: • To be the driving force behind the success of the depots. Building client bases and developing a network of customers to achieve the depots targets. • To have clear communication skills that can build the relationships with clients the branch needs to grow. • Show a level of market knowledge in their areas and devise a planned strategy on growing the business. • Required to attend any training courses deemed necessary in their future development. Including BMF, NMBS and NBG arranged training courses. • Expected to deliver market strategies which will deliver growth to the depots. • Be at the forefront of helping the company achieve brand recognition and financial growth within set targets/KPIS. • Have the skills required to identify target and deliver new business clients by developing tailored conversations which resonate with different types of clients. • Keep aware and keep on top of market conditions and evaluate the competition. • Work in conjunction with other members of staff to ensure that the right products and quantities are kept in stock and ordered in good time and tailored to client base. • Customer service skills must be of the highest quality and have the persuading skills needed to change people’s buying habits. • Expected to promote our products and services to prospective customers in a high-quality manner, through a variety of communication channels including site visits if required. • To support with customer collection transactions as required. • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting will be required on KPIs. To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
